Address: Strömby naturreservat , 385 91 Torsås
Visit a real forest! In Strömby is a nature reserve, a so-called coniferous forests. Barr Natural forests of this type and size are rare in the region and therefore, according to the provincial government, "very worthy of protection."
The forest's average age is about 100 years, but the whole area is very diverse. In some places in the forest grows really large, centuries-old pines. The forest area has no trail system and therefore can be quite difficult to access. Torsås orienteering club has made an orientation map that covers much of the area. The nature reserve is also a beautiful walking trail.
Maps and stage descriptions are available at the tourist office in Bergkvara. It is also possible to order material via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Printable stage descriptions from our bike and hiking trails can be found below.
